Sunday, July 14. One-day workshop from 10 am to 4 pm.

Info:  An intro to slip as a surface decoration. We will cover traditional techniques (feathering, dotting, slip-trailing, marbling, Mishima, sgraffito), and more contemporary techniques (stencils, monoprints). We will talk about different approaches to applying slip, and use hump molds to work with patterned slabs. This workshop is hands-on. We will work on fresh to leather hard clay. 

Small slabs will be provided for trying techniques, but bring fresh clay if you want to work larger and/or some leather hard objects

1/2 hr. for lunch :) Bring a lunch
