Wednesday, Evening June 4th to July 23rd. 6:30pm to 9:00Pm
This 8-week course will explore various methods and materials for decorating pots. We will explore various techniques for both texture and colour surface treatments including both handmade and commercial stamps, and mark-making. slip trailing, underglazes, slips, transfers, monoprints, screen printing, and sgraffito. This class will be suitable for both hand-building and wheel work with the focus being on decoration.
week 1 - Mark making, sprigs, and stamps
week 2 - slip trailing and underglaze application.
week 3 -Stencils.
week 4 - Monoprints
