About The Class
6wks, Sept 14th, 21st, 28th, Oct 12 (glazing) Thursday Evenings 6:30 - 9 pm. Rakuing Oct 15th Rakuing day. 9:00am - 3:30pm.
Learn the history of raku pottery and create stunning artwork through the process of sculpting, hand building, or throwing pottery pieces, glazing and participation in the exciting process of firing your raku work.
Please note the firing day will take place at 9 am and continue until all the pieces have been fired (approximately 3pm. Bring lunch for this day.
Masks are now optional. Still, sanitize when entering the studio. Bring your own apron and hand towel to take home to clean, please. Thank you
Hint: Tie-back long hair, long nails, and rings can interfere with your results.
Level of experience: Basic knowledge of pottery materials and processes is needed.

Clay: WSO 25lb. bag. $67.80 +GST, price subject to change without notice. Clay is sold on the first day of class.
