 This 8-week, the intermediate class will build on your current throwing skills while exploring thrown forms beyond bowls and cylinders. Each week we will build on previous lessons to create more intricate forms and create pieces that are multifaceted through joining and altering your thrown work. Basic centering and throwing skills are required.

week 1: Recap of throwing strategies for basic forms: cylinders, bowls, and strategies for altering shapes.

week 2: forms you open twice l - cylinders and lids, french butter dish.

week 3: forms you open twice ll - plant pots, pour-over coffee

week 4: forms you open twice lll - ( and close!) ( citrus reamer, posy rings, salt pigs)
