8wks, Thursday Afternoons, March 20th to May 8th.

This is an introductory class learning the basics of hand-building and wheel throwing. The first week you will learn the fundamentals of pinch pots, the next week slab-building, and then coil-building. Next we'll get going learning the steps to throw pots on the potter's wheel with lots of practicing. You will also learn the basics of trimming your pots on the potter's wheel as well as by hand. The final class you will learn the basics of glazing and glaze your pots.

 Bring your own apron and hand towel to take home to clean, please.  Thank you

Hint: Tie-back long hair, long nails, and rings can interfere with your results.
