6wks, Thursday evenings, July 9th to August 13th.

This is an introductory clay course designed to give beginners fundamental skills in both handbuilding and throwing on the pottery wheel.

We will spend the first 3 weeks learning handbuilding basics like pinch pots, slab-building and clay sculpting techniques.

In the last 3 weeks, students will learn to throw , trim, and explore different forms on the pottery wheel.

In the last class, students will glaze their creations

 Bring your own apron and hand towel to take home to clean, please.  Thank you
