Intro to the Pottery Wheel for Adults 16+, 6 week class

 Monday, 6:30pm to 9:00pm, Feb 27nd, March 6th,13th,20th,27th, April 3rd.

Wanting to try clay for the first time. Your first 4 classes focus on learning basic technique to create a cylinder, or other small vessels using clay on the pottery wheel. As your pots dry we will be trimming and finishing your pieces. Experimenting with stains and slip decoration before being put in the kiln for their first firing. Our final week will be glazingl

This will be messy and fun! When working with a machine with rotational pull consider your safety, tie long hair back, sleeves, strings on tops, or long jewelry must be tucked away. Long finger nails and rings may interfere with the outcome of your pots.
