Rakue All day workshop ( glazing and firing) May 17th, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Unleash your creative energy and experience the thrill of a live firing! In this workshop you will create your pieces independently working in your own studio space or open studio if you are a member of the Clay Hub Collective.

We will have a full day of glazing & firing your pots in the Raku kiln.

Glazes are provided and instruction on application and techniques will be demonstrated. Students will assist with the firings : removing the pots from the 1000c kiln and smoking the pots to achieve the crackle effect and metallic surfaces.

Clay:12.5lbs of clay will be provided for this workshop it can be picked up at the studio once you register. All pieces need to be bisqued or ready for bisque by May 3rd. ( 04) bisque.
