About the event
Beginners Mud Slinging (Wheel Throwing) for Adults 18+
4 Friday afternoons 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, July 11 to Aug 8th, skip Aug 1st
This class is for those who have NEVER used a pottery wheel before.
In the 4 weeks of classes, we will cover materials, techniques, tools, and finishes.
Week 1 and 2 will be throwing, week 3 will be trimming and decorating, and Week 4 will be glazing. You will learn all the basics to create a mug, bowl or other small vessel from start to finish.
We will get messy :) bring a sense of adventure and humor. For your safety, tie your long hair back. Cords on tops, ties, or long jewelry must be tucked away. Long fingernails and rings may interfere with the outcome of your pot.
