Handles and Lugs  Saturday May 11th, from 2 pm to 4:30 Workshop

This hands-on workshop will cover a variety of approaches - from solid to hollow, pulled to slab built.

We will talk aesthetics, ergonomics, and function - the great debate of what makes a good handle. 

Some hollow tubes will be provided to practice with, but students are welcome to have some leather hard forms of their own to use. Bring extra clay of the same kind for your pieces. 

Please bring one or two favorite pieces from your own collection. ( made by you or someone else) for a handle/lug show-and-tell.
