About the event

Thursday, March 12th, to April 30th  8 weeks (Thursday nights)

Time: 6:30 - 9 pm

Open to everybody from beginner to experienced.

In this class we will explore hand building vessels like wall pillows (used as canvas for surface decoration) wall vases/ pouches and anything else we can think up using slump molds.

We will also design and create our own bisque,and slump molds in order to create functional or sculptural vessels. 

We will experiment with surface decoration, learning how to make our own stamps and texture rollers.

Surface decoration techniques can include Paper Stencils, Photocopy printing, Mishima Inlay, underglaze decoration, rubber stamping, tissue paper transfer and water etching etc.

Cost: $240 plus the cost of clay  $35

Clay can be bought through Clay Hub.

Maximum of 8 people, minimum of 6.
