Glaze tutorial  Friday Dec 3rd 1:30pm to 3:30p.m 

In this class you will be shown how to use the Hub glazes step by step. Gain some Hints and tips some does and don'ts

Topics that will be covered:

- cleaning and prep of your work

-waxing ( proper application and bushes)

-glaze application ( dipping time, how many coats, how to apply)

-logging your pieces for future reference ( glaze record sheet)

-cleaning work up for the glaze firing ( bottoms)

-the glazes we use and how they perform 

-Questions and Answers

Students will need up to 4 bisqued pieces each to glaze. Please have cylinders or pinch pots about 3in tall (7.5cm) and 2 in. wide(5cm) textured on top or bottom for class.

NOTE:

Covid 19 protocals in place: PROOF OF DOUBLE VACCINATION REQUIRED to attend the class. Masks must be wore in the studio, sanitize when entering the studio. the instructor will supply sanitized tools. Bring your own apron and hand towels to take home please.
