About the event
Sunday Sept 22 , 2 to 6 pm ( 4hrs) Trimming Techniques workshop
This afternoon workshop will explore techniques for wheel trimming and finishing well -balanced pots. There will be a focus on tool use, form, and strategies for trimming various forms including bowls, cups, and long necked vessels. Advances trimming tools such as chucks and the Giffin Grip will also be introduced,
Students are asked to bring 3 or more leather hard, untrimmed, wheel-thrown pots for practicing.
Covid protocols: Masks are now optional. Please bring your own apron and hand towels for cleaning up.
age: Adult 16 +
Level: beginner to advanced
