4wk Class, Sundays June 28th to July 19th, 1:30 to 4pm.


Curious about how glazes really work? This hands - on course introduces the essentials of glaze making and the role of raw materials in cone 10 gas firing . The course guides you through the full testing cycle, from mixing and applying to creating test posts and documenting recipes for repeatable results. Participants will develop practical skills and confidence in glaze testing, culmination in a group firing in the new gas kiln. Finished work will be unloaded and reviewed in the final class.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Participants are encouraged to bring in already bisqued items for test glazing on the first day of class. Or ready to be bisqued if you don't have access to a kiln.

CLAY MUST BE CONE 10, NO RED CLAY.
