 Throw Big or Go Home! 5wks

  Wednesday 6:30pm to 9 pm. June 28th to July 26th,

 This 4-week, intermediate class will build on your current throwing and centering skills to increase the amount of clay you can successfully center and confidently work towards bigger pots. Basic centering and throwing skills are required, but the size is relative and goals can vary!  

Week 1: Recap of throwing strategies for basic forms-  BOWLS. Making the most of what you’ve got! Intro to spiral wedging

Week 2: Centering strategies and techniques for larger quantities of clay, and learning to control the centripetal force of bigger pots. CYLINDERS - Getting Height!

Week 3: Centering strategies for plates and low bowls. PLATTERS! practice, practice.
